Decoration:

Lessee is responsible for decorating the event space, and removing decorations after the event.

See damages and cleaning policy below.

 

Set-up Plan:

Must be confirmed within 30 days of event, if applicable.

 

Garbage Disposal:

Lessee is responsible for disposing of all event trash; except as prearranged. All refuse must be kept contained from bears/ravens/etc until it can be removed from the property. All refuse must be cleared from Cove property within 24 hours. Renters will be charged a $100 minimum fee for failure to remove event trash if no prior arrangements have been made.

 

Deposit:

At time of booking, The Cove levies a $200 minimum deposit against damages, additional cleaning fees, and incidentals.

Full payment of the rental charges plus deposit is due at the time of booking.

A credit card number is required on file. If a balance is due following the event, the renter may submit payment or have the balance charged to the credit card on file.

 

Cancellation Policy:

• More than 30 days in advance – Subject to a $50 administration fee

• 30 days to 7 days in advance – Subject to a 50% penalty of total costs

• Within 7 days – Subject to a 100% penalty of total costs

• Cancellations due to weather – Subject to a $50 administration fee

 Applicable only if weather conditions prevent the event.

 

Non-profit Rate:

501(c)3 Non-profits receive a $50/day discount

 

Damage and Cleaning Policy  

The renter is responsible for any damage occurring during use of The Cove, and shall pay for damages to the satisfaction of The Cove management. To avoid damage or defacement charges, renters should obtain approval from Cove staff prior to affixing anything to floors, ceilings, or other surfaces. The renter is responsible for removing all decorations, tacks, tape, and pins after the event. The renter will clear away all trash after event unless the cleaning crew has been arranged. The renter is responsible for keeping trash contained from bears/ravens/etc until it can be removed. Extraordinary messes or spills must be cleaned by the renter prior to departure and within the time of the rental reservation in order to avoid additional charges. The renter will be charged for any equipment that is missing following the event or any damage that is incurred due to the event. The charges will be deducted from the deposit. If the deposit is not adequate, the balance will be charged to the credit card on file. The renter will be notified in advance of additional charges.
